We offer the most reliable and accurate Mobile Notary (Notary service at your location) available in the Las Vegas Valley area. With a scheduled appointment you are assured that your document will be notarized at the time and place most convenient to you.
It is often inconvenient or impossible to get to a notary. We make visits to homes, offices, hospitals, and hotels; even to State Line, Boulder City, Mesquite, Laughlin ! We go where we are needed. Notarization provides assurance that the signor of the document has shown valid photo ID to a us. We check ID carefully prior to notarization, make appropriate logbook entries and affix our stamp and embossed seal. We verify or complete the notarization date and location, as notarized documents require the State and County where the notarization took place.
For your protection our notaries carry the official Nevada State Commission – issued to authorized notaries. We also carry photo ID – our drivers’ licenses. In addition, we will provide our business card and a receipt if payment is in cash. As representatives of the Nevada Department of State we take our function very seriously.
It is rare, but there are times when we cannot notarize as requested. We require that the document NOT be signed prior to our arrival, or resigned if already signed. We cannot provide “notarization via fax” as personal appearance by the signor in front of the notary is always required. We also must decline to pre/post date document notarizations. Please understand the distinction between the document date and the notarization date. The document date is the effective date of the document and is of no concern to the notary. The notarization date is the actual date the signor appears before the notary and must be accurately reflected on the document.

As a general rule, an affirmation has the same legal force and effect as an oath. Jurat The written statement attesting to the administration of an oath or affirmation is known as a jurat. The jurat must be signed and sealed by the notarizing officer.
An affidavit is a written declaration under oath made before some person who has authority to administer oaths. Affidavits are usually drawn by competent attorneys or are set out in established forms.
An acknowledgment is a proceeding by which a person who has executed an instrument goes before a competent officer or court and declares it to be his act and deed to entitle it to be recorded or to be received in evidence without further proof of execution.
An authentication is a certification of the genuineness of the official character, i.e., signature and seal, or position of a foreign official. It is an act done with the intention of causing a document which has been executed or issued in one jurisdiction to be recognized in another jurisdiction. Documents which may require authentication include legal instruments notarized by foreign notaries or other officials, and copies of public records, such as birth, death, and marriage certificates, issued by foreign record keepers.
A deposition is the testimony of a witness taken in writing under oath or affirmation, before some designated or appointed person or officer, in answer to interrogatories, oral or written.
A certified copy if a copy which contains a statement that the certifying notary has examined the original and the copy and that the copy is a true and correct copy of the original.
